Al Rayyan and Qatar SC played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Round 1 of 2026-2027 season QSL Cup at the Grand Hamad Stadium of Al Arabi club on Sunday.

Qatar SC took the lead in the 22nd minute through a Sebastian Soria penalty. Al Rayyan responded four minutes later when Moustafa Elsayed equalised.

Joao Pedro restored Qatar SC’s advantage in 54th minute, but Yousef Al Alawi struck in 77th minute to secure a point for Al Rayyan.

Both teams showed attacking intent throughout, producing an open contest that reflected the competitive nature of QSL Cup.
