Al Wakrah secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Al Sailiya in the opening match of 2026-2027 season QSL Cup at Al Khor Stadium on Sunday.

The decisive second-minute goal came from Paolo Calione, giving Al Wakrah a winning start to their campaign in the competition.

Al Wakrah’s hard-fought win puts them in a positive position early in the tournament, while Al Sailiya will look to bounce back in their next outing.
