The QSL Cup, in its new format and structure, will begin with the 2025-2026 season. It will feature 20 teams, including First and Second Division teams, and will be played in a single-stage league format initially, with each team playing 10 matches over 10 weeks.

The first and second-placed teams advance directly to the quarterfinals. Teams placed from third to 14th will play six knockout matches, with the winning teams advancing to quarterfinals.

The tournament’s development aims to achieve several strategic objectives, including improving technical level, increasing the number of matches during the season, and enhancing the level of competition and exposure by ensuring greater participation for players. It will also provide young players with the opportunity to gain experience, in line with the strategic plan to develop Second Division competitions.
