The Club Licensing system encompasses a national and AFC wide regulatory system. Licensing sets out standards and procedures by which clubs will be assessed as a basis for continuous improvement of many aspects of football.
Club Licensing captures a broad range of areas of football development, namely; Sporting, Infrastructure, Personnel, Legal, Finance and Business.
The QSL Club Licence applies to clubs participating in QSL and Qatargas League competitions. The AFC Club Licence applies to clubs wishing to participate in the AFC Champions League.
The management and delivery of the Club Licensing system is delegated by the QFA to QSLM who engage directly with all stakeholders and partners to ensure that the system is both appropriate and progressive.
