Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 14 match against Al Shamal.

“Everyone knows the reasons for postponing our match against Al Sadd and we were very prepared to play that important game in order to achieve a positive result. Of course, the league matches need great efforts to win the largest possible number of points. We in the club system work with high concentration to strengthen our ranks and make positive results. Our work is always based on a balance between the individual and collective levels, especially as the players know the level of the responsibility placed upon them.

“Regarding the upcoming match against Al Shamal, “I can say that everyone is ready for the match and the injured players have regained their health. They will be an important addition to the team.

“We need a positive result that will bring us back to the path of victories. The difference in points between a number of teams is very close, so positive results make the difference. In general, our task is neither easy nor impossible either, and we have to deal with each match separately in order to improve our situation,” said Safri.

Qatar SC player Nasir Peer said, “Our team is ready for the match, and we wish to be back on the path of victories.

“Every team can go through difficult circumstances and fluctuations in level, which is a matter in football. We, as a system, work hard to support each other in the best interest of the team to get a positive result.”
