Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Al Duhail.

“Given the short period between the Al Wakrah and Al Duhail match, we are seeking to bring the players to the highest level of readiness through the recovery process.

“The Al Duhail match is difficult against a strong opponent, and we strive to appear well and achieve match points.

“During the past matches, we created many opportunities and did not use them correctly, and we need to focus better in ending the attacks.

“The absence of eight players from the team greatly affected us in the last period, but the players gave a good display against Al Wakrah, and we failed to utilise the opportunities that came our way,” said Younes.

Al Arabi goalkeeper Sataa Al Abbasi said, “There was not enough time to prepare for the match due to the shortage of time after the last match, but in general we are physically and morally ready for the Al Duhail match.

“Every match we play is important and our goal is to be in the top four, regardless of which team we will face. Al Duhail are in an advanced position and it will be a difficult and important match for us.”
