Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 8 match against Al Wakrah.

“Every match the team plays is challenging, there are no easy games this season.

“Our next match is against Al Wakrah, a team currently on a very positive run, having secured three consecutive victories. This reflects the strength of our opponents and adds to the difficulty of the encounter.

“It will certainly be a tough match, but we have the desire and determination to win and claim all three points,” said Belmadi.

Al Duhail player Krzysztof Piątek said, “The team has prepared well for the match against Al Wakrah. The squad is striving hard to secure a victory and continue their successful run this season.

“We have been delivering many positive performances this season and remain strong contenders, following our solid start to the campaign. I hope we can maintain this momentum right until the end.”
