Al Rayyan’s Under-23 coach Gilson Souza spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 14 match against Al Duhail.

“It is too early to say that Al Duhail will win the league, because there is plenty of time. Al Sadd are still there and the title fight is between them.

“Al Rayyan’s chances are still there, mathematically. We will play for a win. We will miss goalkeeper Omar Barry, Abdulrahman Al Korbi, Sebastian Soria and Mousa Haroun in this game. We will try to compensate for their absences. We hope to come good.

“Everyone in our squad has the urge to win against Al Duhail. There are many matches still to play and we will seek to achieve good results,” said Souza.
