Qatar SC coach Wesam Rizik spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 11 match against Al Arabi.

“Our main strategy during the long break was to play in the Ooredoo Cup matches with a regular formation. We are ready in all aspects ahead of the tough task against Al Arabi and we hope to achieve victory.

“We respect Al Arabi. We prepare our team to play for victory. I consider this match as one of the most difficult games for Qatar SC, especially since Al Arabi want to get back to winning ways. Anyway, we are ready.

“I do not think the absence of some players either because of the Qatar Olympic team duty or injuries will make much of a difference. We will assess the situation and we have Under-23 players whom we can count on.

“We play for positive result in every match. And if victories came, it is good. In football, you can win or lose. We expect a good reaction from our players,” said Wesam.
