Umm Salal assistant coach Bouziane Ben Arabi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 15 match against Al Arabi.

“We have ambitions and we will strive hard to achieve our goals. We played a tactically-strong game against Al Ahli in the last round though it ended in a goalless draw. The reality is that Umm Salal deserve a better position.

“The three points from the Al Arabi game before the break will mean a lot to us. It will make the players comfortable and motivate everyone, especially since the winter break is going to be long this time around.

“I had watched Al Arabi’s game against Al Kharaitiyat last week. They played an open game and controlled it. Al Arabi had beaten us 5-1 in the first leg, so we have to be wary of them,” said Bouziane.
