<p>The QNB Stars League Young Talent features young/under-23 players who play influential roles with their clubs, thereby catching the attention of fans and the media.</p><p><strong>Mohammed Waad</strong></p><p>Mohammed Waad is one of the outstanding players under the age of 23 in the QNB Stars League. He is a consistent performer on whom Al Wakrah can rely on. He is a dynamic player who can play either as a left-back or left winger.</p><p>Mohammed Waad has represented Al Wakrah in most of their games in this season’s QNB Stars League, where they are playing after a gap of two seasons. The Blue Wave are currently seventh in the standings with seven points (two wins, one draw and three defeats) after six rounds of action.</p><p>He was recruited by Al Wakrah at the start of this season on a one-year loan deal from Al Sadd, as part of strengthening their squad after earning promotion to the top flight.</p><p>He is also a key member of Felix Sanchez-coached Qatar Olympic team that is preparing for the AFC Under-23 Championship, to be held in Thailand from 8th to 26th January, 2020.
