<p>Al Duhail defeated Al Sailiya 2-1 in Week 6 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League at the Al Duhail Stadium on Thursday.</p><p>Al Duhail moved to 14 points with their fourth victory, while Al Sailiya stood on seven points following their third defeat.</p><p>The Red Knights thus maintained their unbeaten run. They had drawn their other two games.</p><p>Al Duhail defeated Qatar SC 2-1, Al Wakrah 4-2 and Al Shahania 1-0, but were held by Al Arabi and Al Rayyan by an identical 1-1 score.</p><p>Al Duhail, coached by Portuguese Rui Faria, dominated Al Sailiya right throughout in their bid to stay in strong contention for the title.</p><p>Khaled Mohammed (24th minute) and Mohanad Ali (90th minute) scored for the winners.</p><p>Abdulrahman Mohammed scored Al Sailiya’s goal in the 34th minute.</p><p>After Khaled put Al Duhail ahead with a long-ranger, Al Sailiya’s Iranian striker Karim Ansari drew a fine save from Al Duhail goalkeeper Amine Lecomte.</p><p>The deadlock remained until the last minute of regular time before Mohanad Ali, returning from an injury, struck the winning goal.  </p><p>Al Duhail missed the services of Ismail Mohammed and Asim Madibo due to injuries.</p>
