<p>Al Shahania put it across Umm Salal 5-2 in Week 21 of the QNB Stars League at the Qatar SC Stadium on Thursday.</p><p>Al Shahaniya took their points tally to 24, while Umm Salal stayed on 23.</p><p>It was promoted side Al Shahania’s sixth victory in this season’s QNB Stars League. They drew six matches and lost nine.</p><p>Al Shahania thus ensured their stay in the First Division.</p><p>Rebin Sulaka (ninth minute), Kesse Amangoua (16th), Luciano Vazquez (49th), Saad Hussain (52nd) and Ramin Rezaeian (81st) scored the goals for Al Shahania, coached by Spaniard Jose Murcia.</p><p>It was a well-deserved victory for Al Shahania, who have been punching above their weight in this season’s QNB Stars League.</p><p>Al Shahania have been putting up creditable displays as Murcia succeeded in transforming them into a fighting unit.</p><p>Umm Salal thus crashed to their 10th defeat. Syrian striker Mahmoud Al Mawas scored both goals for The Orange Fortress in the 67th and 83rd minutes. </p><p>Al Shahania and Umm Salal had played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg.</p>
