The kick-off is at 18:40 at the Al Sadd Stadium on Saturday, 25th January, 2020.</p><p>Al Sadd are on a high following their triumph last week in the 2020 Qatar Cup, where they dominated Al Duhail en route to winning the final by a 4-0 margin. The Wolves had defeated Al Rayyan 4-1 in the semifinal.</p><p>Reigning champions Al Sadd are currently third in the QNB Stars League standings with 24 points, six less than leaders Al Duhail and four adrift of second-placed Al Rayyan.</p><p>Al Sadd have registered eight wins, while they lost the other four matches. Their goal difference is +14 (35 goals for and 21 against).</p><p>Xavi Hernandez’s men followed up their Qatar Cup success with a 2-1 win over Al Khor last Tuesday in a QNB Stars League match deferred from Week 7 due to their AFC Champions League commitment.</p><p>Meanwhile, Al Sadd beat Al Arabi 6-1 in another deferred game after they suffered a 1-2 setback at the hands of Al Wakrah in Week 12.</p><p>Al Shahania, in danger zone alongside Al Khor and Umm Salal, are struggling to stay afloat.</p><p>Al Shahania are 11th with eight points (one win, five draws and six defeats). Their goal difference is -13 (11 goals for and 24 against).</p><p>Jose Murcia’s wards could score their first victory in this season’s league only in Week 12 when they upset Al Gharafa with a 2-1 verdict.</p><p>Al Sadd had beaten Al Shahania 7-1 in the first leg.</p>
