<p>Al Sailiya beat Umm Salal 2-0 in a tightly-fought contest in Week 12 of the QNB Stars League at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Friday.</p><p>Goals from Abdulqadir Ilyas in the 27th minute and Fahad Youssef in the 76th minute were enough to seal the three points for Al Sailiya.</p><p>Al Sailiya took their points tally to 22, while Umm Salal remained on 15.</p><p>The game started in extraordinary fashion for Al Sailiya as Rachid Tiberkanine was given a straight red card for a rash challenge early on. That did not hold his team up though as they managed to grab the game’s opener midway through the half.</p><p>Nadir Belhadj floated in a free-kick from deep, with Abdulqadir rising high above his marker to nod in at the back post.</p><p>Any chance of Umm Salal using their numerical advantage was over when Atef Mohammed also received his marching orders in the 39th minute.</p><p>The points were sealed late on when Fahad Yousef slotted home from close range.</p>
