The encounter between Al Arabi and Qatar SC in Week 10 of the QNB Stars League on Friday, 26th October, is sure to be a thriller. The kick-off is at 17:20 at the Al Arabi Stadium.

It is also going to be exciting as the clash will be more noted for fan rivalry.

Al Arabi, who lost 0-3to Al Ahli last week, are seventh with 12 points. The Dream Team have recorded four wins and five defeats to have a goal difference of -9 (11 goals for and 20 against).

The second most leaky defence, after bottom side Al Kharaitiyat (22 goals against) should be a bother spot for Al Arabi’s Tunisian coach Hatem Al Moaddeb, who recently replaced Croat Luka Bonacic.

The onus is on Hatem to help The Dream Team arrest the slump that also saw them lose to Al Gharafa and Al Sailiya in successive weeks.

On the other hand, Qatar SC are 11th on eight points. They have two wins, as many draws and five defeats against them to have a goal difference of -6 (11 goals for and 17 against).

The Kings had almost beaten Umm Salal in the last round, but for a dying-minute equaliser.

Qatar SC, who recently handed the coaching reins to Argentina’s 1986 FIFA World Cup winner Sergio Batista after replacing Abdulla Mubarak, will also be keen to get a positive result in their bid to move away from the danger zone.
