<p>Xavi Hernandez of Al Sadd has been named as the QNB Stars League’s best coach for the months of August & September, 2019.</p><p>Under Xavi, Al Sadd played four matches and won all of them during these months.</p><p>The Wolves beat Al Wakrah (4-1), Al Shahania (7-1), Al Sailiya (3-1) and Umm Salal (2-1) in the first four weeks. They have a match in hand, their Week 5 game against Al Arabi, dubbed the Qatar Derby’ that was deferred to a later date due to their AFC Champions League first-leg semifinal against Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal.</p><p>The 12 points from those four wins helped reigning champions Al Sadd stay on top of the QNB Stars League standings.</p><p>During the period, Al Sadd scored 16 goals while conceding four.</p><p>They had 37 shots on target and 12 against.</p><p>Al Sadd also had a good run in the AFC Champions League as they defeated Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr 4-3 on aggregate in the quarterfinals played on 26th August and 16th September.</p><p>Xavi’s career was full of success with Barcelona, ​​where he joined at the age of 11, winning many titles especially in Spain and Europe.</p><p>In 2015, he moved to Al Sadd, where he won the Qatar League, Amir Cup and Qatar Cup.
