<p>Keen contests are on cards in Week 11 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League, scheduled for Sunday, 22nd December, and Monday, 23rd December, with three matches on each day.</p><p>The 12-team tournament is resuming after a long break during which Rounds 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Ooredoo Cup, 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup joint qualifiers and 24th Arabian Gulf Cup were held.</p><p>And the ongoing 2019 FIFA Club World Cup will conclude on 21st December.</p><p>The fixtures are Umm Salal vs Al Sailiya (17:10, Qatar SC Stadium), Qatar SC vs Al Arabi (19:20, Qatar SC Stadium) and Al Rayyan vs Al Wakrah (19:20) at Al Gharafa Stadium on Sunday, Al Shahania vs Al Khor (17:10, Al Ahli Stadium), Al Ahli vs Al Duhail (19:20, Al Ahli Stadium) and Al Gharafa vs Al Sadd (19:20, Al Gharafa Stadium) on Monday.</p><p>Umm Salal and Al Sailiya will open the week’s action by facing against each other.</p><p>Umm Salal are placed 11 with only five points and need to pull up their socks to move away from the danger zone.</p><p>Al Sailiya, sixth with 14 points, will look for a victory in their bid to be in the top four.</p><p>Qatar SC, placed ninth with 12 points, will look to notch up their fourth win on the trot when they host Al Arabi, fifth with 14 points.</p><p>Title contenders Al Rayyan, currently second with 22 points, are sure to play for a victory against Al Wakrah, eighth with 12 points.</p><p>Bottom-placed Al Shahania (four points) are up against Al Khor (10th with five points) in Monday’s early kick-off.</p><p>Al Ahli, positioned seventh with 13 points, will have a tough task on hand as they run into leaders Al Duhail, who have 26 points.</p><p>Third-placed Al Gharafa (20 points) take on Al Sadd, fourth with 15 points, in the week’s other fixture.</p>
