<p>Qatar’s Al Rayyan are preparing for their AFC Champions League Group B second-round match against Uzbekistan’s Lokomotiv, to be played at the Al Sadd Stadium on Monday, 11th March.</p><p>Al Rayyan players resumed their training on Wednesday evening under the watchful eyes of the club’s Under-23 coach Gilson Souza, who has taken charge after they parted ways with Turk Bulent Uygun following their 1-5 loss to Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad in their AFC Champions League opener in Jeddah last Monday.</p><p>Al Rayyan are fourth in Group B, which is led by Al Ittihad with three points. Lokomotiv and the UAE’s Al Wahda are second and third with three and 0 points respectively.</p><p>The technical staff are working on the areas for improvement as The Lions seek a turnaround in their fortunes in the AFC Champions League as well as QNB Stars League, where they are currently fourth.</p>
