<p>Qatar’s Al Rayyan target their second victory when they host the UAE’s Al Wahda in Group B of the 2019 AFC Champions League on Tuesday, 9th April. The kick-off is at the Al Sadd Stadium, where Al Rayyan play their home matches, at 18:45.</p><p>All four teams in the group (Al Ittihad and Lokomotiv being the others) are level on three points after two matches and three of them also have the same goal-difference of +1. Al Rayyan occupy the final spot with a goal difference of -3.</p><p>Al Rayyan recovered from an abysmal performance in Jeddah that saw them lose 1-5 to Al Ittihad. Goals from Luca Borges and Gelmin Rivas earned them a 2-1 home win against Lokomotiv in their second game.</p><p>Al Rayyan are currently fourth in the QNB Stars League standings with 34 points, one less than third-placed Al Sailiya.</p><p>In fact, Al Rayyan and Al Sailiya played out a 2-2 draw in a QNB Stars League Week 21 thriller last week. The Lions now have a chance to finish third depending on their result against Qatar SC in the last round. It will also depend on the result of Al Sailiya against Al Kharaitiyat.</p><p>Third place in QNB Stars League will guarantee Al Rayyan a berth in next year’s AFC Champions League proper, without having to qualify through play-off.</p><p>Al Rayyan mainly have the services of Rodrigo Tabata, Sebastian Soria, Rivas and Luca, with strong support from Khalfan Ibrahim, Abdulrahman Al Harazi, Ahmed Abdelmaksood, Koh Myong-Jin and Gonzalo Vieira.</p>
