Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 4 match against Al Khor.

“We’ve played three games now after the pre-season camp and we focused on the fitness of the players in those matches. We also tried to work on some tactical aspects.

“We’re now concentrating more on the games, specifically. We worked on the psychology of the players as well, so that we can give their 100 per cent.

“We’ve analysed our performance in the last three games and we’ve the potential to deliver better results.

“It’ll be a different game against Al Khor. They badly need three points. They have a good striker. They weren’t bad in the previous games, but their players lacked concentration.

“We had a bad experience with Al Khor last season, so we’re keen to perform in a better way.

“The break affects all the clubs. If you play continuously, you get good rhythm. When there’re breaks in between, it affects your momentum.

“Our first game was good (defeated Umm Salal 2-1), second (lost 1-2 to Al Gharafa) was better and third (beat Qatar SC 2-0) was the best so far. We don’t have any injuries or absences.

“I’m satisfied with our performance generally even though I didn’t get the players I wished for, notwithstanding Rachid Tiberkanine who joined us from Al Kharaitiyat,” said Trabelsi.
