<p>Al Gharafa and Al Arabi are looking to be back on the winning path when they clash against each other in Week 8 of the QNB Stars League on 5th October.</p><p>Al Gharafa had lost to Al Kharaitiyat 0-2, while Al Arabi suffered a defeat at the hands of Al Sailiya exactly by the same margin.</p><p>Al Gharafa are seventh in the standings with seven points from two wins and a draw, whereas Al Arabi are sixth with 12 points from four victories.</p><p>Al Arabi will be keen to storm back into the top four.</p><p>As for Al Gharafa, they are coming off three successive defeats and are eager to make a turnaround in their fortunes.</p><p>Al Gharafa have scored 12 goals conceding 14, whereas Al Arabi netted 11 and conceded 14.</p><p>The match will also be noted for the tactical conflict between Al Gharafa’s French coach Christian Gourcuff and Al Arabi’s Croatian master Luka Bonacic.</p><p>Al Gharafa are sorely missing the services of star Dutch attacking midfielder Wesley Sneijder, who is nursing a muscle strain. But they have in their ranks Vladimir Weiss and Mehdi Taremi.</p><p>Mailson de Farias and Mohammed El Neel are to lead Al Arabi’s challenge.</p>
