Al Sadd coach Jesualdo Ferreira spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 3 match against Al Gharafa.

“We have six points from two wins and there is a difference between our rivals in the first two games and those in the third round. We wish to keep winning.

“We played excellently well against Al Arabi. This time too, our target is three points. The Al Gharafa team has surprised this season. They lost in the first week despite having many outstanding players. Nevertheless, my team has a great desire to win.

“We scored 16 goals in two games and we are very happy. Our players are professional. They do not care about anyone and know what they need to continue to win,” said Ferreira. 

Al Sadd player Hamed Ismail said, “This is an important and difficult game for both teams. Al Gharafa are a strong side and they will give us a stiff challenge before our AFC Champions League first-leg quarterfinal against Esteghlal. We are excited about this game. Our motto is to win every game.”
