“Thank you very much for the congratulations. I think that this award is for everybody at Rayyan because nobody gets anything in football alone. I thank the players and the management.”

“About the game, our philosophy is that always we will play every game as though it is the most important game of the season. And we will go in tomorrow with the same mentality. We have said from the beginning that the QSL is a very strong competition. There are no easy opponents. I hope our team will give the best. I trust in them and I believe that we will have the opportunities to take the victory.”

“Our philosophy is to take it game by game. If you think about winning many games consecutively then that seems difficult. So it's easy if you go game by game, 90 minutes at a time. That's what I am trying to pass onto the players. Now the focus is on the Mesaimeer. We have the same excitement that we have had before the other games. Because I believe that if Rayyan players play as they can, with my full respect for the opponents, they have the ability to beat anybody.”

“The table says everything. We are last without any points while Rayyan are at the top of the table. Of course there's a difference in quality. But we have some capabilities too. We are playing with the high quality that we can. We lost the last two matches 1-0 where we had a chance to get some points. And we expect to put up a good show in this match too.”
 
“Rayyan have the best offensive style this moment in the league. If we remove them 30 metres out of our goal, mark man to man and even double mark their strikers then we will be able to stop them.”
