The Red Bull Winning 5 tournament in collaboration with the Qatar Stars League and Al Sadd SC is set to start on Thursday September 17 at Al Sadd.If you are a fan of 5-aside football then this is the tournament for you, however there is a slight twist in this unique format.
Each match lasts 10 minutes and if and when your team scores, you can then kick out any player of the opposing team until the last one has been eliminated. There are no goalkeepers allowed in this frantic, fast-paced knockout format. If the match is tied at the end of full time, then both teams will face-off in a penalty shoot-out.
So survive with your team and become the national champion of Qatar. From 17th till the 30th of September you can kick out your opponents in six qualifiers.
The best teams will then participate at the national final in City Centre Mall Ice Rink Arena on October 1st from 7PM to 10PM. 146 teams participated last year, 170 already registered this year.
