Al Sadd coach Roberto Mancini spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 14 match against Al Gharafa.

“All league matches are very difficult and in the next match we will face the league leaders, which will make it even more difficult. But for us, it is very important that we try to win this match.

“Al Gharafa are five points ahead of us and that is precisely why we need to win. If we succeed, I think we will reopen the competition for the league title. I have great confidence in all players. We are preparing well for the match to achieve one goal – three points,” said Mancini.

Al Sadd player Claudinho said, “It will be a big match. Al Gharafa are leading the standings and having a good season, and on the other hand, I think we have also found our footing in the league, so I expect a strong and special match.

“The match is crucial and we must win if we want to compete for the title. There is no other thought but to achieve victory.”
