Qatar SC coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 14 match against Al Ahli.

“We anticipate a tough match against Al Ahli as is the case in all our league matches this season. We are competing in a very strong and competitive league, and we hope to achieve victory.

“We were unlucky in our last match, but that is football; sometimes we win, sometimes we do not. However, we will give our all and we hope to succeed in the next match and achieve a positive result,” said Lopez.

Qatar SC player Nizar Al Rashdan said, “Our ambition is always to win and collect points, and we strive to give our best on the field. We were not successful in the last match and we are looking forward to winning the next one to move up the league table.

“I am very happy to join Doha Bank Stars League. It is a league known for its strength and competitiveness at the Asian level, featuring outstanding players and a high level of skill. I hope to make a valuable contribution to Al Khor and help my teammates achieve positive results.”
