Al Wakrah handed Al Shahania a 4-0 defeat in Week 14 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium of Al Wakrah club on Thursday.

Redouane Berkane (21st minute penalty and 51st minute), Ayoub Assal (58th minute) and Yusuf Abdurisag (64th minute) scored the goals for The Blue Wave.

The win took Al Wakrah’s tally to 19 points, while Al Shahania remained on 11 points.

Al Wakrah held sway throughout the match. Al Shahania also paid the price for a serious defensive lapse.

Berkane opened scoring, capitalizing on the penalty in the opening half. In the second session, Berkane flicked in an Assal cross for Al Wakrah to go up 2-0.

Assal then scored off a Berkane cross, who was put through by Abdurisag (3-0).

Al Shahania substitute Hossam Kamal was then left to ponder as his feeble pass to own goalkeeper was intercepted by a sprinting Abdurisag and he pushed it through between the legs of custodian Shehab Ellethy for the scoreline to be 4-0 in Al Wakrah’s favour.
