Al Shahania coach Santi Denia spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 5 match against Qatar SC.

“The league is progressing step by step and the competition has increased significantly between the teams. This week, we have an important match against a good team, Qatar SC.

“Our preparations were good after the important victory over Al Sadd, which restored the team’s confidence. We are moving forward step by step. We have an important match against Qatar SC ahead of us and we are focused on the three points,” said Denia.

Al Shahania player Yousef Hani said, “The preparations are as usual. A point is crucial for us and three points is our best goal in every match.

“We succeeded in regaining confidence with the three points we earned in the previous match against Al Sadd, but we have four points, so we have not done anything in the league yet.

“We will play to win the match. We have great confidence in ourselves and great confidence in the coach and technical staff. We are capable of securing the three points.”
