Al Arabi coach Cosmin Contra spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 12 match against Al Wakrah.

“We are aware of the strength of our opponent and the difficulty of the match, but we are entering it with high concentration. Al Wakrah are a well-organized team and will be a tough opponent. Our mission is to impose our style of play and control the tempo of the match from the opening minutes.

“Although the team is missing some key players, we have confidence in the squad and their ability to give their best to achieve the desired result,” said Cosmin.

Al Arabi player Isaac Lihadji said, “The Al Wakrah match is very important for us. We want to prove that what we have achieved so far is not a coincidence, but rather the result of daily effort in training. We understand the importance of the match and are going into it with high spirits.”
