Qatar SC coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 2 match against Al Sadd.

“Our match against Al Sadd will be tough and we are aiming for a positive result. We have worked on preparing the team appropriately, and we have been training well recently.

“In the first round, we played a strong match against Al Wakrah, one of the best teams in the league. It was a difficult encounter, but despite that, we created many opportunities that we were unable to capitalize on. Therefore, a point is better than nothing and we are looking ahead to achieving victories in the upcoming matches,” said Marquez.

Qatar SC player Aron Gunnarsson said, “I am happy at joining Qatar SC and I am eager to give my best for the team and contribute to achieving the club’s goals in the new season.
