Al Arabi coach Pablo Amo spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 2 match against Al Gharafa.

“We are fully aware of the importance of the match against Al Gharafa. They are an organized team with distinguished players. We have made a great effort over the past few days to analyze the opponents' performance and correct the aspects that were not ideal in our first match against Al Wakrah, which ended in a draw.

“The players are in high spirits and the competition within the group is encouraging. We respect our opponents, but we enter the match with only one goal – to win and collect the three points,” said Pablo Amo.

Al Arabi player Wassim Keddari said, “The team is determined to achieve victory and improve its performance after the draw in the opening round against Al Wakrah.

“The match will certainly be difficult. They are a strong team with extensive experience in the league, but we have confidence in our abilities and the teamwork we perform daily on the field. After the draw in the first match, we want to show a different face and improve both offensively and defensively.”
