Al Sadd coach Roberto Mancini spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 10 match against Al Sailiya.

“The next match will be difficult because the most difficult match is always the one after it. For us, it is very important to win because we need to close the gap with the league leaders.

“This week has been a bit strange because after the international break, the situation is always difficult since we do not have all our players available. We have been missing them for the past two weeks.

“It is difficult, yes, very difficult, but I hope things will go well because we have worked hard over the past three days,” said Mancini.

Al Sadd player Ali Asaad said, “Al Sailiya are in good form and managed to draw with Al Duhail in their last match. Our current position does not reflect Al Sadd’s potential. We must win all our remaining matches to continue competing for the top spot and we are capable of doing so.”
