Table toppers Al Gharafa edged Al Wakrah 1-0 in Week 10 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium of Al Gharafa club on Friday.

The all-important goal was scored by Al Gharafa captain Yacine Brahimi from the spot in the 34th minute after Ayoub Mohammed Al Oui was felled by Al Wakrah’s Fahad Waad on the sideline of penalty box on the right.

Brahimi made no mistake with the penalty kick and shook the net. With the advantage gained, The Cheetahs continued to deny Al Wakrah throughout despite one of The Blue Wave kicks finding the bottom of the right post once.

It was Al Gharafa’s eighth win of the league championship and took their tally to 25 points, while a third loss saw Al Wakrah remain on 15 points.
