Al Waab coach Dani Vidal spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Jetour League Week 4 match against Umm Salal.

“We prepared for this match just as we do for every other game. Our focus is on self-improvement, day by day, step by step, and correcting the errors made in our previous match. 

“We need to be at our best to secure the three points. The team prepared well through the QSL Cup matches, where we achieved good results, winning in the first round and drawing in the second,” said Dani.

Al Waab player Saud Al Nasr said, “Preparations have been excellent. Following the QSL Cup, the team returned to training and played a friendly match. 

“Umm Salal are a good team. Despite losing by five goals in their last match, they will certainly be looking to bounce back, which underscores the difficulty of the encounter. However, we are fully prepared to win.”
