Al Shahania assistant coach Pejman Montazeri spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 12 match against Al Duhail.

“We played an outstanding match against Al Gharafa in the last round and I praised the players for their efforts in that game. We will build on the positives from the previous match when we face Al Duhail.

“The winning mentality was what led the team to victory over Al Gharafa. That match is now in the past and the team must focus on the upcoming matches, especially since we face a difficult but not impossible task. The team is striving to improve its ranking by achieving victory,” said Pejman Montazeri.

Al Shahania player Artur George said, “We, as players, feel a significant improvement in the team’s performance in recent matches. We played a great match against Al Gharafa and achieved a positive result, so we must not stop.

“We have good indicators that give us confidence in this match. We will strive to achieve better results in the next stage.”
