Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 22 match against Qatar SC.

“The upcoming match against Qatar SC in the final round of Doha Bank Stars League is an ideal preparation for the Amir Cup, which concludes the current season.

“The Qatar SC match is crucial for the team, especially as it comes at the end of the league season and just before a vital quarterfinal match against Al Arabi in the Amir Cup.

“The team has prepared well for this match and aims to perform well and finalize its readiness before the Amir Cup fixture,” said Belmadi.

Al Duhail goalkeeper Amir Katoul said, “The team is ready for the Qatar SC match. I am fully prepared if the coaching staff decide to start me in this important game, which comes directly before the Amir Cup quarterfinal.”
