Al Rayyan coach Vicente Moreno spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 22 match against Al Arabi.

“At this moment, we have put the past matches and recent tournaments behind us. The most important thing now is the league. We will be playing against a very good team with outstanding players who are having a fantastic season. I am sure it will be a tough match and we want to win for our fans.

“We are currently in third place in the standings and we want to maintain this position because it gives us the opportunity to play in the AFC Champions League Elite next season. For the club and the players, this is extremely important because we have top-class players who want to be part of that tournament.

“Right now, all our focus is on the league and the Al Arabi match. I always remember that we become a stronger team with our fans in the stadium. Their presence is crucial so that together we can achieve great things,” said Moreno.

Al Rayyan player Wesley said, “I am very happy to be back on the pitch as soon as possible. I was eager to return and help the team, just like I did at the beginning. I am happy to be back playing in the finals and winning titles with the team.”
