Al Duhail scored twice in the closing minutes to beat Al Shahania 3-1 in Round 2 of 2026-2027 season QSL Cup at the Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium of Al Wakrah club on Monday.

Ibrahima Bamba put Al Duhail ahead in the 34th minute, giving them a narrow advantage at the break.

Al Shahania responded early in the second half, with Abdoulaye Traore levelling the score in the 48th minute to bring the match back to parity.

The contest remained finely balanced until the closing stages, when Al Duhail found a decisive burst of quality. Krzysztof Piatek restored their lead in the 86th minute before Oumar Sekou sealed the victory with a third goal in the 90th minute.

The result rewarded Al Duhail for their persistence after Al Shahania’s equaliser, while the latter were left to rue the late goals that turned a tight encounter into a comfortable margin.
