Al Kharaitiyat and Al Wakrah played out an interesting 1-1 draw in Round 2 of 2026-2027 season QSL Cup at the Al Sailiya Sports Club on Monday.

Al Wakrah made a flying start, with Amin Zahzouh breaking the deadlock in just the second minute to give his side an early advantage.

Al Kharaitiyat found themselves chasing the game from the outset and the deficit stood for more than an hour. The breakthrough finally came in the 73rd minute, when Jassim Al Jalabi found the net to bring his side level and restore parity.

Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages, but neither could find a second goal as the match ended all square at full time.
