Al Gharafa and Al Sadd shared a thrilling 3-3 draw in their opening match of the 2025-26 QSL Cup at Stadium 974 on Monday, September 1, 2025.

For Al Sadd, Yamaan Jarrar scored all their three goals in the 17th, 47th and 50th minutes of the match. All off his efforts were spectacular – two drives and the second one off a header.

The two sides were locked 1-1 at half time. Al Sadd added two more goals to their tally in the second session before Al Gharafa hit back to draw parity at 3-all, thanks also to an Own Goal from Al Sadd.

Al Gharafa, who scored the opening goal in the 14thminute through Jamal Hamad Mayor, who deflected a Florinel Coman assist, made their way back with a second goal in the 64th minute from Alvaro Djalo.

In the 73rd minute, Al Sadd’s Ahmad Samir kicked one into his own net while trying to deal with a Djalo shot from inside the box.
