Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 12 match against Al Ahli.

“From now on, every match will be tough as everyone strives to accumulate as many points as possible and each has their own objectives. Therefore, securing any points will not be easy without a significant effort.

“Al Ahli are a good team with highly-skilled players and I consider them as one of the best teams in the league. They also have strong motivation to climb the league table. However, we are also aiming for victory and the three points to maintain our position among the top teams,” said Prats.

Al Shamal player Akram Tawfik said, “We are expecting a tough encounter against a great team and we hope the team will be at its best to achieve our goal of winning and securing the three points.”
