Etihad Al Gharafa face Al Markhiya in Week 2 of 2026-2027 season Jetour League at the Al Thumama Stadium on Sunday, August 30, 2026. The kick-off is at 7.30pm.

Etihad Al Gharafa are looking for their maiden win in the league following a 1-1 draw against Al Bidda in the opening round.

Meanwhile, Al Markhiya, guided by Swede Poya Esbaghi, aim to consolidate after a resounding 3-0 win over Al Khor in the first round.

Al Markhiya are backed by a strong attack. It is spearheaded by the promising Ahmed Aboutrika, who scored the first goal of the season, and Yusupha Njie to breach Etihad Al Gharafa’s defence and deliver a strong performance.

However, Etihad Al Gharafa also have a solid defence, which sets the stage for a tough and challenging battle between the teams.
