Qatar U-23 National Team coach Jose Angel spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Jetour League Week 2 match against Al Bidda.

“The team performed well in the first league match, securing a well-deserved draw against the strong Umm Salal team.

“The Jetour League is a unique opportunity for the coaching staff and young players to compete at a high level and gain regular experience and exposure,” said Jose Angel.

Qatar U-23 National Team player Mohamed Hani said, “It is important to have a collective performance in every match, as demonstrated in the first-round match against Umm Salal. We have good players and an excellent team. 

“Our goal is to defeat Al Bidda and secure the three points. We strive to deliver our best performance and maintain this momentum.”
