Al Shamal Future will face Al Waab at 7.30pm on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Al Bayt Stadium, in Week 2 of 2026-2027 season Jetour League.

Both teams displayed impressive performances in the first round of competition and are looking to continue their strong showings in the second round.

Al Shamal Future held Al Kharaitiyat, one of the promotion contenders this season, to a goalless draw in the first round. The match saw seven players under 23 years old in coach Ahmed Mubarak’s starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Al Waab, under Daniel Vidal, made a strong and impressive start to the competition by defeating Al Rayyan NextGen 1-0.

Al Waab fielded a standout line-up, led by outstanding goalkeeper Francisco Bala, who contributed to the victory over Al Rayyan NextGen. Other notable players included Diogo Felipe and Modou Saye, who scored the winning goal.
