Roger Guedes bagged a super hat-trick as Al Rayyan defeated Al Shahania 5-1 in Week 7 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Khor Stadium on Sunday.

Guedes opened the floodgate of goals for The Lions with a fantastic header from the centre of the box following a precise cross by Ahmed Alaaeldin in the sixth minute before completing an hat-trick in the 39th and 45+2 minutes to give them a 3-0 lead going into half-time.

He completed the task in the 80th minute from the spot after Al Shahania’s Shehab Ellethy’s foul inside the box. Wesley Ribeiro was also on target for Al Rayyan in the 65th minute as they moved to 16 points in the standings.

Al Shahania’s consolatory goal was scored by Mohammed Majed in the 56th minute as the bottom-placed side remained rooted on four points.
