Al Duhail scored twice in stoppage time to beat Lusail 3-1 in a dramatic Week 7 clash of 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League at Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Duhail club on Saturday.

Qatar international Almoez Ali put The Red Knights ahead in the 40th minute and Djamel Belmadi’s side protected that advantage until the closing stages.

Lusail appeared to have earned a valuable point when Rodrigo Moreno levelled the score in the 89th minute.

However, Al Duhail responded in style. Boubakary Soumare restored the lead in the fourth minute of added time, before Almoez sealed the points with his second goal of the night deep into stoppage time.

The result lifted Al Duhail to 15 points, building on their win over Al Sadd in the previous round and keeping them in the title race. Lusail remained on six points.
