Al Arabi coach Pablo Amo spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 4 match against Al Shamal.
“Returning after the international break was an important milestone that we took advantage of to prepare the team technically and mentally. We focused on analyzing our performance, correcting gaps and rearranging the squad to keep our collective identity.
“We are facing a strong team like Al Shamal, which has a highly-competitive spirit and are performing well. We know that the match will not be easy, but we are entering it with high focus and a sincere desire to prove that we are a team capable of improving with each round,” said Pablo Amo.
Al Arabi player Javier Hernandez said, “I found great support from my teammates to help me adapt and I saw great enthusiasm within the team that will enable us to reach the farthest point.
“The international break gave some players a chance to rest and others to play international matches, but now all eyes are on the league. The Al Shamal match is a real test for us after our return and we want it to be a strong start to our journey.”
