Qatar Sports Club has announced the signing of former manager Sebastião Lazaroni on a one year contract. The former Qatar National Team coach has replaced outgoing manager Radhi Shnaishel, who left the club by mutual consent.

The Brazilian is no stranger to the Qatar Stars League, having previously managed at Qatar Sports club on two separate occasions between 2008-2009 & 2012-2014. In his previous spell with the Kings he lifted the QNB cup and the Qatar Cup before announcing his resignation.

 Lazaroni’s first task in charge will be to turn the fortunes of Qatar Sports Club, who are currently bottom of the QSL league table and have yet to register a win this season. They face fellow QSL strugglers Meisameer in round 7 of the QSL.
