El Jaish returned to Doha on Monday after concluding their external training camp in Austria, during which the team played three friendlies as part of their preparation for the new Qatar Stars League season.
 
El Jaish defeated Austrian side LASK Linz by five goals, drew with the Italian outfit Helllas Verona 2-2 and lost their final friendly to Udinese 4-0.
 
The technical staff led by French Head Coach Sabri Lamouchi decided to grant the players 3 days’ rest, after which the team will resume their training sessions in Doha next Friday.
 
El Jaish will play a further two friendlies, the first will be against Qatar National Military team on August 28 and then against Al Shahania Sep 4.
